Quilt Blocks
Have an idea for a community service project or a donation that benefits your community? Contact Bev Hanagan or Lorene Yates at the information available on the roster.
Quilts Needed
We need twin size quilts for boys and girls at Chamberlains (should be at least 60" x 90") and crib size quilts for babies. If the quilt you donate can't fill the requests needed at this time it will be saved until a suitable home can be found for it.

Food Drive for Community Pantry
Bring a Non-Parishable food item(s) to the Guild Meetings and you will receive one ticket toward the raffle basket of your choice. Community Pantry is struggling to fulfill the needs of those less fortunate in San Benito County. (One raffle ticket per Guild Member.)
Facilities Set-Up and Clean-Up

Volunteers are needed to help get the community center set up for our Guild Meetings each month. Please contact any Board Member or see the sign-up sheet at meetings. Thanks. Set-up: Arrive early (6pm) to help set-up chairs and tables that will be used for the meeting. Clean-up: Make sure the room is left in the same condition as when we entered it, tables and chairs put away.

Recipes Needed for our first Quilt Guild Cookbook!

Let’s get started on the Guild Cookbook! Sheila Galindo is looking for recipes from our members to put in the Guild Cookbook. Please help us out with 3 or 4 recipes from your collections. We have an account with the Morris Press who is going to publish our cookbook. Everyone can enter their own recipes online. Please contact Sheila for the web address, group name and password to access our cookbook account.

Once you have logged on, follow the instructions for entering a recipe. You can enter as many recipes as you want. If there are duplications, we will give credit to all who enter the recipe. Please double check your recipe after you have entered it to be sure it is correct.

For those who don’t have computer access, you can mail your recipes to Sheila at the address listed in the roster or give them to her at the guild meetings. We will continue to add recipes until March, so please help us out with this fundraiser.

We would also like your quilting hints and tips to make our cookbook special. These can be emailed or snail mailed to the information listed in the roster.
Contact Webmistress Julee Maggiora to have other information you wish the guild members to know about posted here.
Our award-winning 2010 Opportunity Quilt: "Civil War Medallion" was won on February 16th by Leslie Peteghen, a friend of guild member, Colleen Egland. According to Colleen, she had given the tickets to Leslie as a wedding gift. What a great gift! Congratulations, Leslie!

Ticket Sales
It is through the help of our
Guild Members that sales of tickets for this Opportunity Quilt can be a success. Tickets should be available in time for the unveiling of this quilt at the March General Meeting.
