African American Quilt Guild of Oakland - www.aaqgo.org - Meet the fourth Saturday of each month (except December) at 1pm at West Oakland Branch Library, 1801 Adeline Street, Oakland.
Courthouse Quilters meet the first Thursday of each month at alternating homes in Hollister, CA from 7-9pm. This group includes these ladies from our guild: Sarah Bertine, Karen Coatsworth, Mary Lundquist, Joy Pierce, Dianna Smith and Sharon West.
Twisted Stitchers - www.twistedstitchers.net - A small group of friends, from the South Bay Area of California, who get together at least once a month to quilt, chat and enjoy their friendship. Occasionally, they go on a Shop Hop or indulge in a Quilt Show and no matter what - they always have a good laugh! Ladies in this group who are from our guild are Leslie Eclarin, Linda Kubota, Mary Oteri, Julee Maggiora, Gina Rangel and Eva Trenberth.
The Usual Suspects stitch together on Tuesdays from 10-2. They stitch at each other's homes and occasionally go on field trips and out to lunch. They stitched at Alta Evan's home for a number of years, and now since Alta is spending more time in Arizona, they move around. The Usual Suspects have a birthday celebration in July or August and meet for a Christmas lunch in December. Ladies in this group are Sheila Galindo, Dianna Ritchie, Patti Mauerman, Lorene Yates, Alta Evans, Janice Goodman, Karen Coatsworth, Mary Lundquist, Holly Mabutas, Irene Towler and JoAnn Sherrin.
